About Us

The Presbytery of Gippsland covers Phillip Island and Koo Wee Rup to the west, Swifts Creek and Mt Hotham in the high country, Wilson’s Promontory, and the beaches beyond Lakes Entrance through to Mallacoota. It holds the major towns of Warragul, Traralgon, Sale and Bairnsdale, the Latrobe Valley and many towns and villages between.

We acknowledge the Bunurong, Boon Wurrung and Gunai Kurnai peoples and commit ourselves to truth-telling, reconciliation, justice and peace for all people.

the sour taste of dissonance
we are called back into
the sweetness of the
relationship.

One weeks’ writing
assignment was to write and
personally deliver a letter to someone
who had influenced them positively
in their early life and who had
not been thanked for
their kindness.

We have enough
faith to dream big, to imagine
doing the impossible with very little.
This is what Jesus
asked us to do.

There is a
relationship of harmony
and balance between the elements
and the Spinifex which can only happen when
one relies on the other or
requires the other
to survive.
