About Us

The Presbytery of Gippsland covers Phillip Island and Koo Wee Rup to the west, Swifts Creek and Mt Hotham in the high country, Wilson’s Promontory, and the beaches beyond Lakes Entrance through to Mallacoota. It holds the major towns of Warragul, Traralgon, Sale and Bairnsdale, the Latrobe Valley and many towns and villages between.

We acknowledge the Bunurong, Boon Wurrung and Gunai Kurnai peoples and commit ourselves to truth-telling, reconciliation, justice and peace for all people.

Sunday June 20

From the front windows I can see wild,
rolling waves churning menacingly
towards the beach. Along the
foreshore, trees are bending,
tops swirling, waving
surrender in the
force of the
wind.
